FitKid MIND
Our FitKid MIND program for kids and adolescents helps them gain confidence and learn to control their emotions

fitKID MIND!

Our goal is to empower and develop unbreakable super powers in the minds of the future by promoting resilience, strengthening assets, and increasing coping skills of children and adolescents.

By teaching children of all ages that they are the sole owner of their life and emotions and that they are stronger and more powerful than any circumstance or feeling, you give them the gift of being, unbreakable.

From there, we teach, show and explore, how having an unbreakable super power makes no task to large, no emotion unbearable and no dream unattainable.

Being strong minded means having the resources, the mental skills, and the physical capabilities to confront difficulties of all kinds.  When a person is strong-minded, they have the energy and stamina to face a challenge without being robbed of inner strength.

Mental toughness gives us the courage to grow from the stress we experience in life. It is a mindset comprised of several qualities and attitudes.

We explore, learn and create the following five elements in our students minds to inspire and build strong minds.

Confidence is a belief in yourself and your ability to meet your goals.

Courage is the tendency to see life’s obstacles as challenges to be met rather than threats to be avoided.

A person who is fully committed can find a creative solution to almost any task.
Control is having a certainty that you are able to shape your destiny rather than passively accepting events as they come along.
Strong-minded people have a dedication that comes from a purpose that’s in alignment with their deepest values.

Toughness is in the spirit and soul, not the muscles. Building a strong mind is a lifelong task. It will not only pay off when obstacles come in your child’s way, it will become habit, and eventually a part of your child’s identify.

MySkool programs help students by filling in the “gaps” that our current educational mediums will encounter. We offer safe, affordable and quality instruction that can be done from the comfort of your own home and that helps children continue to develop their social, physical and emotional intelligence even while not being taught in their current environment.

Every time I've had any sort of issue with either of my kids, I've reached out to Annette. When our sons were very argumentative with each other, I asked her for ideas, and she gave them some sibling sessions that really changed how they approached each other. She can really do anything! I highly recommend her for any challenge your child may be facing. She will lead them to success!

Annette Waters started working with our daughter a few years ago to help our daughter with her social skills. Ms. Waters first worked with our daughter in a school environment, and then later as an independent therapist. Our daughter's social skills have improved under Ms. Waters' care. Ms. Waters speaks with us before and after our daughter's sessions and she is quick to identify areas to work on. She also gives us activities that we can do at home to help our daughter improve her social skills. Ms. Waters works with our daughter both in a clinical setting and in the community, or "real world" setting. The latter is especially useful for our daughter to work on real-life social skills.
